Winefred (1855)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Winefred (1855) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has double topsails, single topgallants and royals. A canvas windsail ventilator is rigged and she has a large number of passengers on board. The paddle tug Uncle Sam (1849) is in the left foreground and the Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore beyond the tug.
