A bow view taken from one of the ship's lifeboats of the Cunard Line cruise ship Aquitania (1914) at single anchor off an unidentified coast, possibly in the Mediterranean. The photograph is from very fine off the starboard bow and illustrates the dramatic flare of the bows. A small pontoon(?) is secured to her starboard side. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P83410 to P83414 inclusive were taken in the same location.

The Aquitania was used for Mediterranean cruises from 1930 due to the Great Depression.
