A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Blue Star Line cruise ship Arandora Star (1927) under way at sea. She became a cruise ship in 1929, visiting Norway, northern capitals, the Mediterranean and the West Indies. In 1931 her hull was painted white with a red riband and in late 1934 her after derrick posts were removed. The negative is badly silvered.
