Sutlej (1881)
A whole plate negative. Believed to be a port side view of the passenger/cargo liner Sutlej (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter. Awnings are rigged aft. Tilbury is in the background. The weather is dull and misty. This negative has been discarded and there is no photographic print available. The image was made on the same day as negative number G1887 and was probably a very similar view.
