A group of seven officers, including Sub-Lieutenant John H. Bowen, from the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913) having a picnic at the edge of a field. The remains of the picnic are scattered over the fishing net and ground. All the officers, except Bowen, have removed their jackets so identification is difficult.
