A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Leyland Line passenger liner and cruise ship Belgenland (1917) anchored off an unidentified coast. She is dressed overall, her forward accommodation ladder is down and lifeboats have been launched. A tender is alongside amidships and a number of bumboats are also alongside. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
The Belgenland undertook a number of Mediterranean cruises in the early 1930s. Negatives numbers P83422, P83423 and P83425 were taken on the same occasion.
