Edinburgh (1855)
A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the cable ship Edinburgh (1855) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is barque rigged with double topsails but her topgallant masts have either been sent down or have been removed completely. Her bowsprit has also been removed. Tilbury is in the background. A copy of whole plate negative number G1574.
