Garonne (1871)
A quarter plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Garonne (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a tall funnel and is barque rigged with three yards on each of the fore and main masts. She has an awning rigged aft. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy negative of a photographic print produced from a Gould negative that has not survived.
