A quarter plate negative. A fair quality ort very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Gothic (1893) under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound up. A small steam launch is under way offshore. This is a copy of a mounted photographic print produced from negative number G75.
