Hankow (1873)

A quarter plate negative. A starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Hankow (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her fore and main masts and is flying the blue peter from the foremast. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. A copy of a Gould photographic print produced from whole plat negative number G2034.
