She is rigged with double topsails and single topgallants. She has painted ports and is flying the blue peter. A swim headed stumpy spritsail barge is alongside amidships. The bow of the tug Robert Bruce (1865) is on the right. Tilbury is in the background. The date 7/75 is scratched on the emulsion of the original negative but the Lincolnshire (1858) sailed from London for Melbourne in June 1875, leaving Plymouth 28 June 1875.
