Norfolk (1879)

A quarter plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Norfolk (1879) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has painted ports and is barque rigged with double topsails and single topgallants. She is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from whole plate negative number G1788.
