Orotava (1889)
A quarter plate negative. A starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Orotava (1889) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has short funnels and four masts and is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print from a negative not held in the collection but similar to negative number G1815. Negative damaged by damp on the right side.
