Renown (1860)
A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Renown (1860) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and has painted ports. A bawley is on the left, drying her nets. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is drawn up on the Tilbury shore in the background. A Gould copy of Gould whole plate negative number G2240.
