Sobraon (1866)

A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from very wide off the bow, of the 3 masted ship rigged passenger liner Sobraon (1866) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has double topsails, double topgallants on fore and main with single topgallant on the mizzen and single royals on all masts. She is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background. The ship's name is painted on the hull near the third painted port. Negative number G1299 was taken on the same occasion. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from whole plate negative number G2306.
