Trenton (1876)
A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the United States Navy screw frigate Trenton (1876) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is ship rigged, her topgallant yards have been sent down and her funnel is lowered. Tilbury is in the background. Negative number G2097 was taken on the same occasion. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from a whole plate negative that has not survived.
