Viceroy (1871)
A quarter plate negative. A port broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Viceroy (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three masts with two yards on the foremast. She is flying the blue peter and her houseflag. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould whole plate negative that has not survived.
