Young Australia (1852)

A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Young Australia (1852) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. A piece of canvas is hanging on the main topgallant stay. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1302 and G1524 were taken on the same occasion. A Gould copy of Gould whole plate negative number G1529.
