Rothesay (1957)
A quarter plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. On the starboard side of 1 deck abaft Number 2 Limbo mortar well looking forward. In the left foreground is No. 2 Limbo Mark 10 mortar. A dan buoy is in its stowed position on the deck abreast the mortar well. Four single fixed 21 inch torpedo tubes are fitted on either side of the deck arranged to fire 45° abaft the beam and a Mark V twin 40 mm gun mount and its director are abaft the lattice mainmast.
