Rothesay (1957)

A quarter plate negative. The Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the bridge looking aft and to starboard showing the Mark 6M director above the bridge. Radar type 277Q is on the forward lattice mast. The cheese aerial of radar type 978 is on the starboard side of the foremast and the larger cheese aerial for type 293Q radar is on the port side. At the top of the foremast is the type FH4 HF/DF Coil. A vertical format negative.
