Yarmouth (1959) underwater fittings

A 2¼ square film negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) in No. 2 dry dock in Rosyth Dockyard. A close view of the aft end of Hull Outfit 15 Type 170B sonar transducer and fairing between 10 and 13 stations after the covering dome has been removed. A seaman from HMS Cochrane and one from HMS Yarmouth are lifting the rear fairing plate to fix it into position. The Yarmouth man is holding a pair of ear defenders. The photographer is on the floor of the dock close to the keel looking aft and to starboard.
