Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the Engineer's office on the port side of 2 deck between 47 and 49 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port showing two tubular chairs and the desk with an Imperial 66 typewriter on it. Above the desk is a file rack and one of the files is the Machinery Master Record. On the aft bulkhead is a telephone control box made by the Telehone Manufacturing Co Ltd of London and the main broadcast microphone, telephone and alarm push.
