Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit

A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the main communications office on the starboard side of 2 deck between 32½ and 35 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port showing the desk at Bay 8 with an Olivetti 82 typewriter on it. On the aft bulkhead is a nest of pigeon holes and switch units for the six teleprinters. There are two clocks in the office, the one on the left is reading 10.45 and the one on the right says 4.40. A man is standing in the lobby outside the doorway.
