Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit

A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the diesel generator switchboard room on the port side of 2 deck between 11½ and 14 stations. The photographer is looking to port and slightly forward from the door showing a bank of at least 17 on/off handles and two circuit breakers. Two 450 volt A.C. cabinets are on the hull side. Coils of fire hose on a canvas covered unit and a tubular steel chair are on the deck. A vertical format image.
