Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the C.C.R. (RX) on the port side of 2 deck between 25 and 28 stations looking aft from the forward end of the compartment. An operator's position is on the right and a flexible ventilation trunking is either side of an electrical cabinet mounted on a wooden base unit. Stacks of electrical cabinets line the inboard bulkhead on the left. The meaning of the initials C.C.R. is not known but (RX) almost certainly refers to reception. The plans in the Admiralty collection use these initials instead of words. A vertical format image.
