Inside the First Lieutenant's cabin on the starboard side of 1 deck between 27½ and 30 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from near the fireplace. A kneehole desk is against the aft bulkhead and a Thermotank ventilation unit is above it. A wardrobe, cupboards and drawers unit is against the starboard bulkhead and on the bookshelf is a copy of 'The Queen's Regulations for the Royal Navy'. A drop-leaf table is on the left.
