Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the officers' cooks and stewards mess on the starboard side of 3 deck between stations 62½ and 66. The photographer is looking aft showing two bunks on the starboard side. Kit lockers are on the port side. A coat cupboard, a bookrack, a small steel cupboard and a Thermotank ventilation unit are on the aft bulkhead. A kitbag is stowed under the steel cupboard. On the right is the door to the compartment.
