Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is by the forward breakwater on the forecastle (1 deck) looking forward showing the twin-headed steam capstan. Perforated wooden boxes have been placed over the mooring bollards to port and starboard and ahead of the capstan. There is no ensign at the jackstaff. The United States Navy destroyer Manley (1956) is berthed alongside North Corner Jetty just ahead of the Yarmouth.
