Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit

A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is looking forward, to starboard and up from the port side of 02 deck on top of the hangar. In the foreground is the platform for the G.W.S. 20 Seacat missile optical director with the IFF interrogation antenna above it on a platform on a plated mainmast. On an angled to port platform on the foremast is the cheese aerial for the Type 978 navigational radar and above it is the aerial for the Type 993 search radar. At the top of the foremast is the Mark 5 HF/DF aerial.
