A 3½x4¾ glass plate negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) under construction in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The sections 19 to the stern are in place and supported on timber struts. The side plating from stations 35½ to the stern has been completed. Everything forward of station 27 is out of the picture. Scaffolding has been erected outside the hull. On the adjoining berth in the background is the tanker Lincoln (1958), yard number 707, under construction.
