Yarmouth (1959) under construction.

A 3¼x4¼ glass plate negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) under construction in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is on a crane to port of the head of the berth looking aft and to starboard. The hull from station 2½ to the stern is almost complete except that the side plating from stations 2½ to 7 on the port side and from stations 2½ to 15 on the starboard side is only up to number 4 deck level. Scaffolding has been erected outside the hull from station 5 aft. Number 1 deck plating has been fitted from station 31 aft. Her bow is just out of the picture.
