A 2¼ square roll film negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) under construction in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is high on a crane to port of the berth amidships looking down, to starboard and slightly forward at the forward part of the ship. The hull and deck plating, including the 01 deck, is complete. Scaffolding has been erected outside the hull. Everything aft of station 42 is out of the picture. On the berth in the background is the bottom plating of the cargo liner Clan Macindoe (1959), yard number 712.
