A 2¼ square roll film negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) under construction in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is high on a crane at the head of the port side of the berth looking down, to starboard and aft. The hull and deck plating, including the 01 deck, is complete. Scaffolding has been erected outside the hull. The bow forward of station 14 is out of the picture. On the berth in the background the cargo liner Clan Macindoe (1959), yard number 712, is in the early stages of construction.
