Yarmouth (1959) under construction.

A 3¼x4¼ glass plate negative. The Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) under construction in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is on a crane on the port side near the end of the adjoining berth looking down and to starboard at the after part of the ship. Her main hull is complete and has been painted, including the draught marks. Much of the scaffolding has been removed. Everything forward of station 56 is out of the picture. On the berth in the background the cargo liner Clan Macindoe (1959), yard number 712, is taking shape.
