Mrs Maureen Catherine Allan standing on the launch platform with her hand on the switch ready to launch the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) from her building berth in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. She is accompanied by Sir James McFadyen McNeill, Deputy Chairman of the shipbuilders, who is holding the scissors used to cut the ribbon of the champagne bottle when Mrs Allan named the ship.
