Three male guests walking in the yard on the day of the launch of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) from her building berth in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The man in the centre is Sir James McFadyen McNeill, the Managing Director of John Brown & Co Ltd. He is holding a rolled umbrella and is wearing an overcoat and bowler hat. A Royal Navy admiral is on the left and the other man is wearing an overcoat, a company tie and a homburg hat.
