Mrs Maureen Catherine Allan standing under the starboard side of the hull of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) on her building berth in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank, prior to naming and launching the ship. Standing on her right (on the left of the picture) is Lord Aberconway, Chairman of the shipbuilders. On her left is John Rannie, the Shipyard Director. Both men are wearing suits and identical ties and Lord Aberconway has a bowler hat and an umbrella. See also negative number N66167.
