A 2¼ square roll film negative. A group of unidentified guests gathered in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank for the naming and launching of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959). The group includes a woman wearing an overcoat and gloves, A Royal Navy captain who is standing with his arms folded, a woman wearing a short fur coat and a Royal Navy commander with his hands crossed. They are in front of the erecting shop at the head of the fitting out basin.
