Yarmouth (1959) being launched.

A 3½x4¾ glass plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) entering the water from her building berth in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. She is not using drag chains to slow her progress. The ship has just been named by Mrs Maureen Catherine Allan. Under construction on the adjoining berth is the cargo liner Clan Macindoe (1959), yard number 712.
