Yarmouth (1959) electronic fittings.
A half plate glass negative. A close view of a 'switch for electronic gear' for the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The unit has been photographed in studio conditions with no background. The unit has five spindles fitted to circular components, one of which is only half the size of the other four. The spindles project through the face plate and inside the unit is a series of 28 connections for wires. Above the wire connectors is a descriptive panel with three lines of text. The top line has four pairs of AC1 and five pairs of AC2 on it. The middle line has Anti-cond and Mains, each repeated six times. The bottom line has nine boxes labelled 115v 60 ohm, 230v AC, 230v AC, 230v AC, 692 Test Rack, CAW EAH, Transmitter 692 (3), Transmitter 692 (2), and Transmitter 693 (4).
