Yarmouth (1959) in the fitting out basin.
A 4¾x3½ glass plate negative. Looking down on the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) from above the port quarter, high on the 150 ton cantilever crane alongside the west side of the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard showing the progress of works. The deck over the boiler room has been replaced following the installation of the boilers. The air lookout positions above the bridge are well advanced and work is proceeding in the mortar well. Everything aft of station 70 is out of the picture. A slightly unsharp vertical format image.
