The Perdrix, capturing the Agreeable, French Frigate, in the West Indies. Decr 26th 1798.

A naval engagement between the British Navy Perdrix and the French frigate Agreeable, in the West Indies, is illustrated in this print. Although both ships have holed sails, the French vessel, on the right of the scene, has lost her foremast, which is floating in the foreground sea. British sailors, holding their swords aloft, can be seen boarding the Agreeable via its bowsprit from the stern of their ship, Perdrix.
