A 3½x4¾ glass plate negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is in the aft seamen's mess on 3 deck showing one of the steel bunk units in the port aft corner. The sprung frame for the mattress and the storage space lid are lifted up showing the storage space below. A plywood box is in one end and a slatted timber base is in the other. A hammock stowage rack is in the corner. Negatives numbers N66237 to N66241 inclusive were taken in the same location on the same day.
