Yarmouth (1959) underwater fittings.
A 3½ x 4¾ inch glass plate negative. A general view of the starboard side of the Type 174 Hull Outfit 20 sonar dome lowered between 15 and 19 stations of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) in the Elderslie Dry Dock of Barclay Curle at Whiteinch, Glasgow. The photograph is taken from the bottom of the dock looking to port. The words 'Don't paint' are scrawled on the hull. The 8 inch diameter 4.5 inch magazine flood inlet near station 20 is in the top left. The ship was docked down 1 February 1960 and undocked 9 February 1960. Negatives numbers N66245 to N66293 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
