A port bow view of the Anchor Line cruise ship Caledonia (1925) at a quayside in Colon, Panama.
A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Anchor Line cruise ship Caledonia (1925) alongside a berth at Colon, Panama. She is dressed overall and is flying the United States of America flag from the foremast peak. A single-funnel merchant ship, possibly a Cunard Line passenger/cargo liner, is the background moored on the far side of the same finger pier. She is also dressed overall and is flying the same courtesy flag. The negative has a small cut in it.
The Caledonia began seasonal cruises from 1930 to September 1939 when she was converted to an Armed Merchant Cruiser and renamed HMS Scotstoun.
