A starboard side view of the Anchor Line cruise ship Caledonia (1925) alongside a quay in an unknown location.
A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Anchor Line cruise ship Caledonia (1925) berthed alongside a quay in an unknown port. She is flying a four flag hoist which is probably her code letters KTGD and she has two windsail ventilators rigged on the forecastle. Two motor boats are between the ship and the photographer and a person in a rowing boat is in the central foreground looking towards the camera. The sculling oar of a lighterman can be seen on the left (most the lighter is out of the image). The negative is slightly out of focus.
The Caledonia began seasonal cruises from 1930 to September 1939 when she was converted to an Armed Merchant Cruiser and renamed HMS Scotstoun
