Yarmouth (1959) in the fitting out basin.
A 3½x4¾ glass plate negative. Looking down on the stern of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) from high on the 150 ton cantilever crane alongside the west side of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking slightly forward and to starboard from above the port quarter. A folding canvas canopy has been erected over the starboard side of 1 deck at 55 to 58 stations. The single Mark 7 40mm bofors gun is still to be fitted at 57½ station on 01 deck. Everything forward of 53 station is out of the picture.
