Yarmouth (1959) in the fitting out basin.
A 2¼ roll film negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from a crane ahead of the bow looking aft and to starboard, of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The guns of the twin 4.5 inch turret are elevated. The ship is practically complete but in need of a final coat of paint. The sterns of the tankers Derby (1960), yard number 706, and British Judge (1960), yard number 705, can just be seen in the basin on the extreme right.
