A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is on a crane on the quayside close alongside the Limbo mortar well looking to starboard and aft showing the quarterdeck. The liferafts and various reels have canvas covers and four pairs of bollards have wooden box covers. The smoke generator on the port side aft also has a canvas cover. She is not flying an ensign, indicating that this photograph was taken prior to commissioning on 24 March 1960.
