A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the platform on the lattice tower of the Type 277Q radar, showing the starboard bridge wing. In the foreground is the No. 6 air treatment unit and beyond it is a 2 inch rocket flare launcher under a canvas cover. In the bridge wing the 10 inch signalling projector, azimuth repeater and TAS sight have canvas covers and the two air lookout sights on the platform above are also covered. The Mark 6M director and support is on the left.
